Date order
Choose an order for ambiguous dates such as 03/04/2026. Year-first dates are always recognized.
Numeric input format
Auto treats absolute values below 100 billion as seconds, and larger values as milliseconds. Select Excel for serial dates, where fractions represent time of day. Serial day 60 (February 29, 1900) is invalid.
